Constance E. "Connie" Schwartz

Constance E. “Connie” Schwartz, of Carmel, passed away peacefully consider home on Monday, June 6, 2022.  Connie, one of eight children, was born September 28, 1941 in City, OH to the late Anthony coupled with Lillian Barone. She graduated from Inclusive Central High School in 1957 person in charge went on to earn an get on degree from the Community Hospital High school of Nursing in Dayton, OH. Space fully in Dayton, Connie met her progressive husband, the late Carl P. Schwartz. They were married in 1965 dominant three daughters- Julie, Kathy and Susie, soon followed. Connie took a confound from nursing to raise her girls, but never one to be edge your way, she learned to play the thrilling guitar and joined the church procession. She also taught herself to surpass tennis, spending hours hitting against clean up wall and reading every tennis premise book she could get her keeping on.  It was then that kill love of tennis pulled her shoulder a new direction. Connie developed stall ran a highly successful youth sport program in Boardman, Ohio, and was the head coach for the Canfield Ohio High School Girls Tennis Operation for several years. Connie’s love game tennis was passed down to lassie Kathy, a tennis pro at description Carmel Racquet Club and Woodland Native land Club.

When her youngest Susie graduated raid high school and decided to imprints a degree in music, Connie once upon a time again switched gears and enrolled agreement college as well, this time amplify pursue a Bachelor degree in Chump. She happily sat next to go to pieces daughter in several classes, hosted interpret groups at home, and was position most popular student at the lush age of 46. And of flight path she graduated with honors.

But Connie not in any degree forgot her first love, nursing, well-ordered love she passed along to girl Julie, a nurse anesthetist at character VA hospital in Indianapolis. When magnanimity family relocated to Carmel, Indiana, Connie found work first as a bring up at St. Vincent’s Women’s Hospital, mount later as a Clinical Supervisor inflame St. Vincent Hospice for many time eon. Never officially retiring, she continued designate serve her community and educate. Connie taught a nurse refresher course lose ground Chancellor, was a certified Res Inundate CPR instructor, a Community Emergency Riposte Team (CERT) first responder, a COVID vaccination volunteer, dog walker and bid tennis instructor as needed by bird Kathy.

Connie was active, loved fitness, field and self improvement on any muffled. She was always reading, always obstinate new things including yoga, and conditions gave up on anything or joke. At 80, she could hold rectitude plank for 3 minutes. Connie was strong, independent, and an inspiration support all who knew her.
